Yeah, but that's how it's been for the past 20 years or so. Except for a few well done movies like the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the entire genre is about teenagers getting in trouble and getting killed.

This is nothing new, except that it's starting to come back to the forefront with a few successes.

I say ... go ahead and revive it and release ANY MANY HORROR MOVIES AS POSSIBLE. Because, even if there are 50 shitty ones, some will make money and allow other, better horror movies to be made. I'd rather them release a bunch of shitty horror movies than Freddie Prinze romantic comedies.
