Hello my fellow askewbians,

Alright. I suck. I admit it.
I got a life a lil while back and hadn't checked out the VA site
in like six months or so. Kev moved to Cally, The 'Verse was in hiatus.
I felt a little down and out, so I stopped coming here as part of my daily routine. I wasn't mad or anything, just a bit down that we might be witnessing the end of an era. I hate that, but I felt good that Kevin was entering a new phase of his life/career/yadda. As with most things, life intervened and I was drawn away to write my own chapters in its book.

Now I comes back to find that there will be a Stash Bash
in Red Bank, NJ this weekend. More importantly, I find out that tickets
were available for only a short time and that they needed to be
won by essay contest (and I sold all my filled college blue books
for some hefty cheddar from gullible froshes during grad week way back in the 96...doh!).

What I was wondering is that if anyone who got tix and planned to go but now cannot has those tickets available. Is this even allowed by the Reds? I don't want to do anything untoward here, but wouldn't you rather want to see those spots filled than empty in Red Bank this weekend?

Oh sure, you say, I had to write my ass off under deadline pressure and now this wank from the way back's just gonna bust back onto the scene and walk off with tix to the coolest thing to hit Jersey since the carnie stands on Seaside Heights boardwalk offered Razor Scooters on their 25 cents wheels...shyeah, right!

Alright. You want my 50 word essay on why I should get your tix you might not be using? here goes:

"" I wish to attend to do what I have done at every other VA NJ event I've been: thank Kevin personally for all he has done for us, his fans. More than anyone, he is proof that realizing your dreams doesn't have to cost your soul. ""

So, if it is allowed...and ONLY if it is allowed by the powers that be.
Please consider my request.

Sincerely Yours
Tom Harrison

PS oh yes...Thank you, Kevin.
(if I do not get a chance to do so in person)
