You guys honestly think that if Clerks:TAS was given a proper chance that it wouldn't have blown Family Guy out of the water? I'm not saying that I don't enjoy Family Guy, I have the DVDs. But I'm more apt to rewatch the 6 Clerks:TAS episodes on DVD then rewatch the Family Guy episodes.
Comparing against Family Guy, the animation on TAS was definately better, the stories were better (even in the 6 episodes), and the voice talent was amazing considering the show only was on the air for 6 episodes. Well really 2 episodes on the air I guess, but 6 episodes were made.
The problem is that everyone was looking for a Simpsons replacement and Dante and Randal would have to have a weird "Junior" episode in order to make a cartoon based on a "wacky family". But of course, the baby that Dante would give birth to would have to plot convenience store domination.
But to get to my point in 2 episodes there wasn't a chance to snare enough people who were not already VA fans. Sometimes I wonder if I drifted off the VA message boards.
