I generally just wander over to the true crime section and see whatever Ann Rule has written lately.
I did read a very interesting book though - it was called Alone with the Devil, and it was written by a courtroom psychiatrist who handled a number of interesting cases - ranging from a guy who believed he was a vampire, to two members of the Manson family. In any rate, it was really interesting to read some of the transcripts.
