: What's your favorite scene in the following movies?
: (only if you've seen em)

: Mallrats
This may be too short to qualify as "favorite scene", but I crack up
every time Jay brains Lafours with that bat and quotes Zod.

: X-Men (or X2)
When Wolvie started actually wounding (and probably killing) them
soldier-types in the mansion in X2. Never thought I'd see the day.

: The Big Lebowski
The whole picture is absolute hilarium (hilarity just didn't sound
good enough), but if I had to pick a scene, it would probably be the
second dream sequence.

: Star Wars (any of 'em)
I'm a sucker for what is, I believe, the penultimate segment of Luke's
encounter with Vader and the Emperor in the Death Star. The one in
which he defeats Vader (hand for hand), and then throws down his saber
in defiance of the Emperor.

: Donnie Darko
Never seen it.

: The Muppet Movie
I probably have seen it, but I don't recall.

: Monty Python & The Holy Grail
The whole socialist farm thing. You know; "I'm being repressed", and
such.

: Scarface
Never seen it.

: Resevoir Dogs
I really, really need to see this soon, because I still haven't.

: Pirates of the Carribean
Most of the movie was great. But I think what was most remarkable was
my LEAST favorite scene, that being the end. I mean, come on! It was
plain and obvious that Jack, Legolas, and Busty were ALL supposed to
run off (or sail off) on the pirate ship, flipping off all the rest of
the stereotypically stuffy Brits in the process. But NO. Jack leaves,
the Brits all of a sudden decide to stop being so stuffy, and then, to
add insult to injury, Busty calls Legolas a pirate, when plainly he is
not. Because if he was, he would have left with the rest of the pirates,
like he was supposed to. Also, why did Legolas suddenly become
D'ar-fucking-tagnon (sp?)?

: and....um...

: Independence Day.
Can I just say all of them? I mean, this probably is the single
accomplishment in the history of cinema. Well, next to Goonies.
Seriously, though, I'd have to say when drunk-father-dude redeems
himself by flying into the alien ship's doom weapon and bringing it
down.
