And, to the movie, I dug that it captured the essence at first, but then it turned hokey once he let it become a fanboy's wet dream. I, personally, loved the first half of it but couldn't help but ask myself, "How the hell did it become retarded?" after the Joker part was finished.
Oh, and, Boner was overacting a little bit, but dammit if he didn't sound like Mark Hamill's excellent Joker from the Dini cartoons.
Personally, I'd love to see the guy helm a Batman flick, so long as he doesn't involve Aliens and the Predator and has a decent script to back him up. Hell, I'd go as far as saying that Batman: Year One would be great. But, seriously, the costume needs a little work. Tights just look silly, but at least there weren't Bat-Nipples on the suit. In the comics, I believe the costume was supposed to be made of a lightweight kevlar. Of course, "lightweight" still would be pretty heavy I'm sure, so something with that texture would rock.
Oh well... as long as it's not all bright and happy, it'll be Batman.
