He was a big guy too - he was in the 9th grade science class I taught...sad thing was, he was 18 - I found out later he was flunking all his classes on purpose so he could stay in school. I heard his dad had died, and the only way his family could get a certain amount of government cheese each month was if he was still a full time student - he could do that until he was 22! I don't teach any more, but my guess is that he's still there! He'd sit in class and read his Marilyn Manson autobiography instead of participating.
