It was a well established name before the comedian.
It was a generic reference for my mind. Likewise, I named two fueding groups in another story of mine the UNOs and the DOSES. Then later the names get replaced.
For some reason, Jonny stayed Jonny Vegas. Then my writing partner convinced me to keep the name. It is an integral idea, the generic name is symbolic of the generic stereotype he fits into.
Anyway, I have to agree with you, in a big way. But, the name stays for now. Thanks for hte feedback Tom.
