actually, I read very little. I come to the board now and again and read all the attitude. It's fun.
When I said I might be alone, I meant that it is likely that the folks who post positive stuff were possibly a minority. Fuck, dude... no one is ALONE in anything. We all are based on the same biology and what not. I know tons of people in REAL LIFE (not a message board where like-minded people congregate) that found the movie to be boring, nonsensical, and plain stupid. Get out of your vacuum.

Your attempts at name dropping references fail miserably in that Quentin wrote Kill Bill as an homage to Hong Kong kung fu flicks, not contemporary Hollywood blockbusters.

the last thing I am is knowledgable, but I saw a movie I liked and no one I know wants to talk about it with me, and I noticed a potential oportunity to bounce some ideas around. And frankly, whether Quentin himself realizes it, there are definate similarities between this film and the ones I mentioned. We couldgo back and forth all day about the films I mentioned and where they got their influences, but that's really a neverending quest.
