But what the fuck does "band" mean? How can you possibly argue that they are not a true band? What definition are you going by?
Merriam Webster tells me a band is "a group of persons, animals, or things; especially : a group of musicians organized for ensemble playing and using chiefly woodwinds, brass, and percussion instruments."
Dave Matthews BAND fits that description to me.
