I remember having 3.75 matinees back in the day. I used to go to this bad ass 40 year old theater (before it closed down) and bay 3.75 to see the first show on Saturday and spend the whole day theater hopping ... ah, to be young again.
Around here it's 5.50 for a matinee, 7.75 after 6:00.
