I can understand why Zimmer was pissed. He has a metal plate in his head from a fastball he took in the noggin' in the '50s. You can understand why he'd get a little overheated if he thought Pedro was headhunting on his players.
On the otherhand, Pedro throwing him down was clearly self-defense. Also, I really don't think he meant to throw him down, but rather just throw him to the side. Bad knees and gravity took over from there.
: professional baseball is turning into a fuckin joke. Still, watching pedro grab that little mans bald head and swing him to the ground, as morbid as it may sound, did make me chuckle.
