I'm a very independent woman so, perhaps, you confused me for a man? My daughter is also ver independent but she was a handful to raise. Stubborn as all hell and very opinionated -- even when she was 3.

I was a single parent before it was commonplace. There was no daycare, no support, nothing. Her father left when she was 8 months old and that was in 1972. So I've been mother and father to my daughter (Jessica). Jessica is drop-dead gorgeous with a 140 IQ. Tough combo for most men her age. That's probably why she's still single.
