: Sorry bout the OT post to all you unfriendly board nazis who only wish to make the decent folk feel bad about their problems, but... I need some perspective on a situation.

: OK, so I lost my awesome job a couple of days ago, and now I am back to being a bum. I've turned in a couple of applications everywhere, and managed to get one pretty good lead. But now I haven't heard from said lead, and I was supposed to have an interview with the lead today, but I never heard from him.

: Since I have a lot more time on my hands, I went to rent a movie. I used to work at BB, and told the few people I knew who still worked there my situation. They offered to give me a job immediately, but its not guaranteed for a fulltime work week (Which I need). Now, when I worked at BB, I hated it. Sure, the movie rentals are cool, but I felt the work was menial, and felt it degraded me (no offense to anyone, but I've had better jobs, so I was just expecting more important work). It also only pays like $6 or $7 bucks an hour, which I just terrible.

: So, should I take this now, or hold out for something else? They need the help, so if I tell them like I have to think about it for a week, the ship will sail. I also don't want to take the job, and just abruptly quit like a week or two later when, (And IF I suppose) I find another job.

: Any suggestions? Thanks.
