The most icky thing happened to me last night!!!
I was outside, in the dark, watching my cat play with a mouse for about 15 minutes, when all of a sudden it just disapeared, probably into the grass I thought. So I went inside.
I was talking to my parents for a few minutes, when I went to pull off a twig that had gotten stuck in my ponytail. But it wasn't a twig, it was....THE MOUSE!!!! It was nestled in my hair, right above the elastic band!!!
As my hand touched the warm little body, I emitted a loud, and somewhat embarrasing shriek, and the mouse dropped to the ground, seeking shelter under the radiator.
My dad pushed it into the backhall with a broom, where it ran UP the wall, hiding behind a lightswitch. I tried to capture it with two cups, but it JUMPED over my shoulder and ran behind the woodpile.
It's probably escaped by now, and I hope that this mouse shall live a long and uneventful life after these escapades.
