One danger with the current apathy is that there is more support for the British National Party (An extreme right wing group). I encourage people to vote because we can't allow them to gain power, like Jorge Haider in Austria.
Though mixing CNN with Fox would only make things more right-winged, more ignorantly right-winged at that.
: Unbiased reporting isn't gonna be around for a long time, which is a shame but like politicians who suddenly are celebrities and have to come off well to the public, the blame is on the viewers at home. People have become lazy and don't care about politics or news, only entertainment and momentary pleasure.
: And for what it's worth, I know many people who think Micheal Moore is God, and many who think he is scum. The reason the man is good though is because by mention of his name he promotes a debate about politics and the media and the poor and important issues that most people wouldn't give a second thought throughout the day to. That's important.
