The "sequel" you are speaking of is actually a straight to dvd movie made by the same people who brought the Final Fantasy movie to the big screen, you won't be able to play it because square-enix has already stated that if they were gonna make a sequal to FFVII it would be on a system that could not play the original FFVII, so that means anyone who owns a playstation2 is outta luck. They had started preproduction on it, and then scrapped it for FFX-2, lucky us.
