Ironically for Americans having a go at the French, the action movie editing of today would not exist without Jean Luc Godard. I agree it's being used increasingly irresponsibly, but I think the success of Pirates Of The Carribean should hopefully see a return to a more old fashioned style.
: That MAYBE with some attempts at story telling, instead of "new scene, new scene, new scene" it could have been good.
: I remember watching it and thinking... why did they release this movie, it's not done yet. Same thing with that Jackie Chen flick "The Medalion" could have been good if someone would have bothered to care about presentation.
