Alright... I know I'll get bashed for asking this question, because it's either been asked before or it's completely ridiculous and ignorant. In Dogma, Azrael say that he was pissed of "for the first million years" being in hell and all. I don't understand because as far as my limited knowledge tells me, Satan wasn't the devil as we know him until a few thousand years ago. Right? So, the time thing doesn't make sense to me. Was Hell around before Satan was the devil? I know nothin' of this stuff. I'm by no means any sort of theology scholar and I think that's obvious.
I was just curious.
