You see, that's it. The way you are thinking of it is just as in line of "location." Location doesn't really matter. Well, maybe it matters to Smith and Company, but to most viewers, location doesn't matter. The "road triping" movie, that could have taken place in south dakota or georgia for all I know. But what I do know is that some but not all characters from the first three films were in J&SBSB. It is that the characters and story (or intermixing of story) from the films is present.
Also, for most trilogies they are all related story wise to eachother. For the first three films, do they exsist at the same time, or is there a chronological order for all of them? They do not all take place in the same place, just the same state.
I dont' know really what I am spouting on about, I'm just bored as hell on a thrusday night with an internet connection and my gay horse fucking porn is taking too long to download.
But I do chanenge anyone this: Point out a trilogy that has the same characters, but not the same locations. (Don't use star wars or indiana jones movies as your point, that's TOO easy).
