I could see him carrying a more "snl" type movie and being pretty good in it, but I agree, I couldnt see him as fletch, unless Kevin made it more slapstick and I thought he was going more for the fletch novels and less like the Chevy Chase movies. Fletch needs an actor who can be funny and sarcastic not a comic-actor.
