i'm probably tainted when it comes to the clash. i had to write a ten page paper on sandanista when i was in college, it was my first major introduction to them. delving into all of the political vies/music genres covered, i guess i have a sick scholarly affection to that album...
beatles though, you can't go wrong, never could go wrong, no matter what you pick up.
the (oh should i dare mention this?) funny thing is just spent the entire evening testing my knowledge of beatles trivia online. the internet is wonderful, quizzes and tests abound for people with too much free time like me...
