: I need some help "grouping" filmmakers in threes.
: Here's some ideas I had...
: Smith, Tarantino, and -Robert Rodriguez-
BTW, I think Smith and Tarantino really shouldn't be put together, but I can link them with Rodriguez in that they all like to stick with the same actors and are fairly identifiable by the mood of the movie in very little time.
: Spielberg, Lucas, and -Bob Zmeckis-
While Zmeckis[sp?] hasn't done much lately, Back to the Future and Who Framed Roger Rabbit kinda put him in that same kinda family hit/proven name area.
: Michael Bay, -James Cameron, Peter Jackson-
All three are known for big movies where the story and the gravity of the movie itself outweighs the actors.
: David Fincher, Guy Ritchie, -Steven Soderburgh-
It's tought to match Fincher's visual style(few have taken a visual style and made it their own to the extent of Fincher) but if you look at the way these guys cast their movies, and make their movies into hip affairs, you've got a link. Plus, all three have had their greatest success with Brad Pitt.
: Wes Craven, Sam Raimi, and -Mick Garris-
Yeah, Garris is a bit obscure, but I don't know horror, so I just looked for somebody that is known for multiple horror movies linked together, and having directed Desperation, The Stand, The Shining(TV), and Sleepwalkers, he may be the best candidate.
: Bryan Singer, I got nothing.
: If you could help, I'd really appreciate it, thanks!
