I have been getting quite excited on the porspect that if i devoted all my efforts their is a small possibility that there would be a hope in hell that i may be considered as one of the candidates for the short list of possible winners. Thus I find myself in a quandary. Not only is the Stash Bash on the VERY same day i have tickets to see the thorns, whom feature matthew sweet who some of you may know is my all time favourite musician (behind Cobain of course) to ever walk the planet, and not only have i never seen him before and waited all my life for this oppurtunity, but it has been about 10 years since he last visited this part of the globe.

AND i also realise that by the time the winners are announced, to the time of being able to arrange a passport, airfares, accomodation, etc etc from Australia would be an almost impossible task, especially given the fact i live in the country and have never been overseas before.

I ask that maybe perhaps there be a stash bash exclusively for international fans, or that there at least be a vulgarthon or something else that i would be able to attend. you see for 2 years now i have been saving my hard earned pennies like a hermit collects shells just for the slight chance that there might be a vulgarthon or something like this come along that i could attend. This is just so darned annoying, torn between two of the greatest loves of my life, all on the same day no less. How does it happen, I have been a fan of matthew sweets for around 12 years now, and a fan of kevins work for around 8, and been dying for the oppurtunity to see/meet both of these people that entire time, possibly the only two celebrities on the entire planet i could give two hoots about actually meeting, and both my oppurtunities come up on the same day. I guess my father was right when they said life just isnt fair

In closing, Ming or whoever, if you could please just take 50 random words out of the above essay and count that as my entry that would be greatly appreciated, thanks very much, your everloving friend, Glenn Harris AKA wesleypipes
