: you're right. How is Hornby's other novels?
...depending on your interest of the subject matter, really. Like if you're into your music, you'll love 'High Fidelity', but if you're not, you'll probably still like it, just not on the same level. See, 'Fever Pitch' is a semi-autobiographical story about Nick Hornby as a football (soccer) fan. I enjoyed it, but you might not have the same reaction to it if you've never been interested in 22 guys kicking a ball around for 90 minutes.
'About A Boy' is all good, but you've seen the film, right? There we go then. Another one is 'How To Be Good'. I bought this for my Dad a couple of years ago, but I don't think he's read it. Neither have I. I'm not sure what this says about the book, but it's probably very enjoyable.
