i checked the summary pages on clerks and mallrats and didn't see these questions posted, so i'm gonna risk looking like an idiot and ask...
Are Randal and Brodie related in some way, because they both tell sexually deviant stories about their cousin walter?
and I think i may have found a plothole in Mallrats that's Clerks related. Okay, you know the ex-girlfriend of Dante's that dies in the pool. Dante and Randal go to the wake, which is the next day and Randal knocks over the casket. Well, in Mallrats, when Brandi tells TS about the same girl dying, it had also happened the day before. This leads me to believe that Clerks and Mallrats happened on the same day. If this is the case, how can Jay and Silent Bob be outside the Quick Stop and in the Mall at the same time?
Now, I saw the question about the two willams being the same character, but played by different actors because of the fact that they exist on different planes of existances, so is this a case of Jay and Silent Bob Secret Wars or just some continuity error which is covered up by the "different planes of existances" loophole?
