Hmm... well I guess I took the statement to literally. I was thinking the actual TURNING 13 experience. Not what was happening to someone during that time. Fortunatly for me, I had my whirlwind of 'disturbing' before 13, so nothing seemed particularly disturbing after that...just predictable.
