The idea being, there may be an infinity of wisdom to be learned from the "Jesus IS god and the infidels will go to hell" but the total amount of wisdom within is less than available elsewhere. As in, there's an infinite number of steps to get to the number eight, taking half the distance each time (4,6,7,7.5,7.75...) but so much more wisdom to be had if you DON'T limit yourself. Ach, my theology is all tied up in physics and I lose people REAL fast.
