I have a few guy platonic guy friends and I'm sure when I first met them I considered the situation but then filed them in the "friend" catagory. And once they are there, they are pretty much stuck in the land of Platonic.
I'd like to think I'd be able to pick up on it if they were having thoughts that were more romantic than platonic, but by nature I'm dense and I could be missing signals right and left.
Although, I don't know - I think some guys do have female friends that are just that, friends. In that brother-sister type of relationship.
Have many guys weighed in on this one yet? In the beginning, did you all want to initially date your female friends?
