She starts treating you like a "boyfriend" without actually getting into the physical aspect of it. Stops mackin on other guys... wants to hang with you all the time... Very protective of you when other girls come into the picture... Always "there" for you... stuff like that. It's like having a girlfriend without the fringe benifits. More than likely, she wants them too.
But if she is still actively persuing other guys, or hanging with you in groups settings mostly and that sort of thing, then she just wants to be friends.
