and it is unlikely that the explaination given to you from your cousin could happen. You probably had something corrupt in the boot sequence. A missing file maybe? It could of been a bad read? What version of Window or OS390 do you have?
That's odd...he usually offers the correct explanation (he repairs and sells macs)...but you could be right. I thought it sounded a little strange, but what do I know? I have a mac...not sure of the version...8.5, maybe...yeah, sounds right.
