: I think that's just instrumental stuff (if I'm not mistaken) probably composed and performed by Dave Pirner (Soul Asylum) as background scoring. I'm trying my best to remember those scenes while I'm at work so, I could be wrong. Being a longtime SA fan, I was always trying to find out where the song "Lucky One" is in the movie, so that may be it. If that's it, I think the song exists (in a different form) on an SA promo sampler somewhere....
If I'm not wrong, the Lucky One song is played while Holden and Alyssa are laying in bed, and she explains to him why she is with him.. the whole story about "why cut the possibilities to find the perfect person in half....u kno?
I think that the second song I'm looking for is not just instrumental... but the first is...
