are good traits for a writer to have. They keep you writing though everything, even if you don't want to.
Don't discount there being people your age at a writer's group, though--you might get surpised. There's such a variety of people in the one I joined. The youngest is 17 and the oldest is in his 60's.
Just hang in there, and things will look up soon.
