To back up my man lou!!!'s point:

-Silence of the Lambs: 2/13/91 (Made $130 mil. in US; won Best Picture, Actor, Actress, Director and Screenplay)
-Wayne's World: 2/14/92 (made $120 mil. in US)
-Groundhog Day: 2/12/93 (made $70 mil. in US)
-Hannibal: 2/9/99 (made $165 mil. in US and largest R-rated opening weekend at that time)
-Daredevil (made $103 mil. in US)

So it's for sure that Jersey Girl is assured to flop because no good movie has ever come out in these months.

Oh and Kevin... I agree. Stop trying to give us the next big hit. I, too, only wanted a good story with this movie and I know that's not what I got DESPITE that fact I HAVEN'T seen the movie.

And we all know that you're in this business only to make money and casting Ben and J. Lo was how you were going to go about doing this. All your other films with your good friend Ben were obviously just made to get people in the seats and not about making the films you wanted to make. Shame on you.
