Kevin, at the end of the day, it's all about art

Umm, I know it's going to be a constant source of discussion because of Gigli, but I really
don't think there will be any connection given how much time there is between the two
movies.

Personally, I'm interested to see the flick because I'm so impressed Kevin is taking the
plunge as an artist to cut the strings on Jay and Silent Bob. I'm sure he could write more with
those characters, but he's pushing himself artistically instead. Whether the impetus was
Mewes's drug problem, it doesn't even matter, ultimately it was the right decision.

Now, i could watch more and more Jay and Silent Bob movies, just like anyone else here, but
we all know that beyond all the dick and fart jokes that Kevin is an amazingly decent guy
with a heart of gold, and that he is a talented writer, whether he accepts that or not (dude's
humble as fuck, too).

So, yeah, I want to see kevin push deeper, do new things, and as part of that, he may fail
from time to time.

But I would rather see him try and fail than just coast.

I've been working on a novel for a while, and I keep going back to it, making it perfect,
wanting it to go deeper, say more. Because the deeper you go, the more universal it gets.

So, if Jersey Girl is from Kevin's heart, it's already a success.

Jeff
