Use of a copyrighted image/name/etc in a humorous manner is typically considered "parody" and allowable w/out express permission. This can be a grey area though -- see link for more details.

Asking for permission before creating a parody is a good way to CYA, especially if you plan on putting a bunch of money into your work. But if you think you can pass the "parody test" then you don't have to get permission. Again, grey grey grey -- see link and also google "parody free use copyright"
