I was taught to do cover letters with these rules in mind.
Be short and to the point.
Start by saying what you want from them
IE I want to be your next hairdressor.
then tell them why you.
You see I have been hairdressing for umpteen years and I knbow my shit.
Tell em what kind of things they'll find on the resume.
Then reiterate what you want and that you are the hairdressor for them.
End with
A thank you for your time.
and at the bootom list everything you have attached to the email or package.
