After the HUGE failure of Gigli, Miramax will probably pull most of its ad money for Jersey Girl. gigli wasn't your typical failure... it's up there with Ishtar and Last Action Hero and Hudson Hawk. Expect Jlo and Ben to break up over this (and that stupid stripper thing that brain dead Ben got himself into). as for Jersey Girl, they already pushed it back to February. For all of you who aren't familiar with Hollywood lingo, January and February are the dumping ground for movies that Hollywood perceives will be D.O.A. flops (Mothman Prophecies, etc.) it has nothing to do with the matrix revolution opening (romantic comedies/dramas always fair well when blockbusters open so kevin is hoping you won't notice by this stupid mistruth). jersey girl is heading for failure. better to leave a sinking ship. Kevin, seriously, stop trying to find the next big hit. just tell a good story. it's like you casted Jlo and Ben together just so you can make money off it. serves you right that this tactic has backfired on you. maybe next time you are releasing a straight to tape movie since hollywood has given up on you you'll remember this post (the day you gave up on yourself).
