I was wondering if there was a way for me to get Kevin Smith's autograph for my fiance, Derek. Derek was diagnosed with osteosarcoma cancer in 2002, and in Jan. 2003, the dr's told us he only has 9 months to live (he's 29 years old). Derek is a huge fan of Kevins. He's determined to go to the Wizard World Chicago, and we'd love to see Kevin, but the last time we went (2001) and tried to meet Kevin and Jay, the lines had already been closed. It's going to be really hard for us to get there this year, being that Derek is now on oxygen and has to use a wheelchair because he's so winded. So, I thought if maybe someone could contact Kevin and ask him if he could send Derek a little letter, it would really cheer Derek up.
