I drove six hours to go. I bought tickets. I sat through a wedding, slept on my aunt's couch, and carried a backpack with everything View Askew I own in it. I had a map, I had an itinerary. I had 200 bucks to spend, another fifty if I absolutely needed it. I brought my own sharpies, some of my own art, and I was ready to go. Fucking family politics kept me stranded in La Mesa not more than 11 miles from the convention center all FUCKING day. I had to vent around 3 o'clock, when I knew I had missed Kevin's stuff for sure. I went to Grossmont Center and spent all 250 bucks on DVD's (and a Jay inaction figure- go fig).
Wow, I've been waiting awhile to spout that out. I am feeling cleansed, less bitter, not as angry at the world- WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH MY FAMILY?
OK, I feel much better now.
