Well, to survive in the entertainment industry, you've got to be at least a LITTLE strange. Kevin's not strange to US, 'cause we're all Star Wars/comic book geeks who smoke entirely too much (and in this instance, I'm referring to cigarettes), curse like sailors, and are all good with dick and fart jokes.
Tarantino's just weird in a different way. But I'm sure he makes sense to some people. And just because he's weird doesn't mean you can't like what he does; it just means that it's totally off the wall to you, which can be a valuable thing.
I do have to agree with Slavei, tho - Burton is DEFINITELY weirder.
