: on album sales anyway...what do they get, like 1 cent on the dollar? they make their money touring...so say some kid downloads their cd without buying it....the artist doesnt get their 10 cent share of the pie, but if they come to his town and do a gig, the kid will spend $30 to see them.....thats where they get the money, not in cd sales!
