Fucking rights. I listen to punk music, and a lot of the bands I listen to NEED the money I spend on their CDs. But just because I listen to some mp3s once in a while doesn't mean I don't spend money on music. It's not just the music, it's the actual CD, it's the booklet, it's the jewel case. Also, bands that bitch and moan like Metallica seriously need to get a life. As Dave Grohl - only true guy in mainstream music - said "if you have millions and millions of dollars and you're bitching about that, I mean, fuck you"
: I think it is a good thing. What damage it does to cd sales, if any, is clearly compensated by the word of mouth advertising. Kevin martin of candlebox and several other artists are coming forward and embracing the internet and the idea of file sharing, piracy, and using it to their advantage.
: as for movies...if i download a movie and like it, i'll definitely be spending money on the dvd, so they get theirs one way or the other, no big deal!
: : to p2p or not to p2p, that is the question?
