That's terrible... I wish I could say something to put your mind at ease, but it is indeed a terrible loss. At this point, I just hope that you and your friend both have faith in a higher power that could possibly bring you comfort.
Not to intrude or push the subject, though, but why did it take ten days between her death and the funeral? That seems an awful long time before putting anyone to rest.
