Last week... Well, it's a long story that goes back even longer... but I
used to like this girl in high school. And I am apparently still on her
"mass email forwarding list." So I get this email from her... it's this
story... -
There sat a man with no intention of grabbing the intangible
attention of the audience that surrounded him. But he did ponder a
few thoughts and thought on a few ponderings. Mostly, his brain
stuck like glue on two objects of thought. A) What is the weight of the
human nostril? and B) Never play leap frog with a unicorn. Oddly
enough, the two thoughts never intermingled, but stayed on complete
seperate sides of his brain. His DNA tingled for every second he
spent spitting these ideas around in his head. Soon enough, the
crowd gathered closer. And closer. And closer still. He quickly found
himself in the middle of a rather large mass of people. The amoeba
crowd reflected his brain sizzling with delight at each new revelation
on the subjects at hand. Suddenly, like a typewriter from hell... he
jumped up and was about to shout the why's, the how's, and the who
cares's on the matter... but... he realized that on the way to his feet,
his shoulder had bumped a beautiful woman right in the nose and
she was bleeding like a whale cut in half. So the man gently took her
home and deftly brought her some kleenex. By the time the bleeding
had stopped, they were in love. And to this day, the man has never
thought once about leap frog unicorns or human nostril's pounds.
For all he cared about was her. The End.
Now, why I bring this story to your attention is this... I asked
another former classmate, (with whom I still hang around... with)
what the heck it all meant. He said that he had heard that it had
something to do with (as he put it) "those Jay and Silent Bob movies."
Right now, I am very confused because I do not see any correlation
between anything View Askew and this story... please help. (Is it
some sort of hidden meaning?)
P.S. - Or is it all crap?
