I'm sorta superstitious sometimes. I think that by saying something, I'll jinx myself & it won't happen.
For example, some years back my friends & I went to the riverboat casino. I had planned on playing the $100 tables but didn't say anything. When we got there, I took my cash out of the ATM & left everyone. I didn't say anything to anyone.
Off I went to the $100 table. Within a half hour/hour, I was up $3000+. THEN my friends found me & I started losing. So I stopped playing & came away $2800 richer.
I figured if I said anything at first, I wouldn't have been so lucky.
