The nicotine def. adds to it. I mean, I never stopped to think about it - but the taste of a cigarette itself I don't find to be that appealing, but the way I feel after I have a smoke is. It's all the nicotine messing with the body chemistry.
Same with caffeine (did I spell that right?) I think. I like coffee - but I def. need the energy (however shortlived it is)that the caffeine provides.
