I think it's probably something most people try when they are young and either it takes, or it doesn't. You are SO lucky it didn't. I started smoking when I was 17, and 7 years later..still smoking. It's so much a force of habit with me at this point though - I don't even think I notice the taste as much as I just have certain habitual cigarettes that I need to have. But when I smell a cigarette and I haven't had one for a while, I crave it.
Um..flavored cigars still taste like cigars, to the best of my recollection. I've had the vanilla, and a cherry blend - both smelled kinda cool, but tasted like crap.
