I was church raised(non denominational). And that secured it for most of my life. My dad died when I was young, and thats when I began to have doubt. Because if all of the adults believed everything they always told me then why did they cry so. My faith was as strong as ever when my mom passed in 97. Shortly there after it began to wane again. I became involved with the wrong croud persay. I began to use drugs(still do occasionally). Some of my friends were wiccan. I began to study other religions. I pursued many religious interests and nothing helped.
One day I tried acid. I had tried several times already. I had seen some pretty light shows. this time was different though. The trip was long over and I couldn't sleep. I went outside to watch the sunrise. Even though the visual distortion phase had passed I was still thinking overboard. That when I realized there had to be a GOD. Watching the sunrise paint its colors across the horizon. I thought how simple it is for us to paint a picture, but how many cosmic events come together to create the simple beauty of a sunrise. Much like we're just neurons flashing electricity around. So is the supernova and the comet just gods neurons.
