You can go to the RSVP website... I cant remember the addy but google will find it... it has a plot summary on there I believe... all I really know is Jay is supposed to be the "hero" of the movie... and it's not a "who done it" it's angle is to let you know who the killer is during the entire movie... the characters of the movie, however, don't know who the killer is....
